About Sam
As I have said before, I am a college graduate with a degree in applied mathematics with a minor in engineering. I was in college for six years, those first four trying for a mechanical engineering major. It took me four years to figure out engineering wasn't for me and I pivoted into applied mathematics and completed my degree in only two years. I have experience working with other classmates and teaching those around me. That being said, I know the frustration and anxiety that comes from not being able to understand something. I've gone through the wringer and somehow ended up on the other side as I am sure you will as well.

First, I will see how you approach problems initially. I will gauge what you excel at and what you struggle with. My lessons will involve you learning the material and me learning about you as a student. I can teach from Grade School all the way to a college education, so it's completely based on what you want out of the lesson. As I have said, I am a very patient person and want you to appreciate learning more than anything. Mistakes are a part of the process, and I will explain how we can avoid those mistakes later on. I'm also not perfect though, and at times may need to look at the described problem material to have a better understanding and know for sure I am teaching you correctly. I hope my lessons will give you a sense of accomplishment.
