About Charlotte

I am a recent graduate from the University of Toronto, where I studied for a Master of Science in evolutionary anthropology. I maintained a 4.0 GPA and completed my master's thesis with an A. During that time, I have worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduates and as an outdoor educator for elementary and high school children. I have a BA honors degree in Greek and Roman studies, law and archaeology and have experience as an archaeologist through 3 seasons of fieldwork and research. I have high-level experience in writing and research, including academic publications.
During my camp career, I have supported children in their programs and as an assistant director. I keep a clear level of professionalism and style when teaching others.
I love education and the power of learning that I have seen as a teacher/instructor. I want to support current students in their work to better their chances of succeeding in their lives!

About the lesson

My method for teaching includes a discussion of the weekly subject, questions by the students, advice and tools for the task, reviewing work or test preparations, working through problems in homework and giving a plan for the future tests or assignments.
I am open to teaching grades 1-12 and undergraduate students.
As a previous teaching assistant and outdoor educator, I have experience in connecting with students and modifying lessons to suit their individual needs.
