About Xanthe
I am a Zoology BSc Graduate (1st Class) and recently completed a master's in Environment, Development, and Policy. My research interests have been focused on conservation policy and practice, particularly integrated conservation and human development. I have a particular research interest in the Central African region, particularly Mountain Gorilla conservation.

I'd like to develop a healthy rapport and encourage strong debate and critical thinking skills, I find verbal discussion is a wonderful way to explore new ideas. Discussion of readings is important, but I find documentaries can be a great way to engage people in unfamiliar topics. Most of all I would encourage people to explore topics they're personally interested in, and then hone their skills in presenting and discussing their chosen topics.
