About Varun Kumar

I am a motivated and disciplined Artificial Intelligence professional currently pursuing the Master of IT in Business (MITB) with an AI specialization at Singapore Management University. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, where I graduated with a top-3 CGPA, along with hands-on industry experience working on real-world AI and data-driven problems.

I strongly believe that every student deserves to truly understand what they are learning. More importantly, I feel that students should know why they are learning a subject, as this clarity creates motivation and long-term interest. This belief is what drives me to teach—helping students move beyond rote memorization and develop genuine understanding.

I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable ideas and guiding students patiently until they feel confident. I am approachable, reliable, and deeply committed to each student’s learning journey, with the aim of helping them achieve academic improvement while developing critical thinking and a genuine understanding of the subject.

About the lesson

I am currently a Master’s student at Singapore Management University, pursuing the Master of IT in Business (MITB) – Artificial Intelligence track. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, where I graduated with a top-3 CGPA in my university, along with 9 months of industry experience working on real-world AI and data-driven problems.

My teaching methodology is simple, structured, and highly effective. I begin every topic by explaining the core concepts clearly using intuitive examples and real-life analogies. Once the fundamentals are clear, I immediately move to practical implications, where we work on hands-on problems, applications, or examples during the class itself. This approach helps bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and practical implementation, which many students struggle with.

I support school-level, junior college, and university students who want strong fundamentals, exam preparation, or confidence in technical subjects such as Statistics, Algorithms, Quantitative Methods, Logic, and Machine Learning foundations. Lessons have a minimum duration of 60 minutes and can be extended based on the student’s requirements and learning goals.

Whatever I commit to, I do it with 100% effort and dedication, ensuring students gain clarity, confidence, and real understanding from every session.
