About R
I am a graduate from the National University of Singapore, with a B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry and a minor in Geosciences and Translation Studies.
I have taught IB and AP Chemistry since 2014, and have a good track record with more than 90% of my students scoring at least 6 for IB Chemistry, and at least 4 for AP.
I also have 3 years of online experience, and I try to communicate as much as possible to minimise the gap between online and offline teaching.

I believe less in rote learning of Chemistry where concepts are taught to be memorised rather than understood.
Through my teaching, I try to explain as many concepts as possible using analogies and a range of tools. I will also guide students through sample questions by showing them step by step, rather than to present them the solution directly.
I also believe that students should be guided towards the answers and not given directly.
