About Anaïs

Hi I’m Anais! I’m a freshman in high school with a strong background in advanced STEM coursework, having taken AP Biology, AP Algebra, AP Trigonometry, and AP Geometry while still in 8th grade. I’ve consistently challenged myself with advanced classes throughout my education and have also learned from Stanford-affiliated professors, which has helped strengthen both my understanding and approach to problem-solving. I focus on building clear foundational skills and helping students gain confidence in math through patient, step-by-step instruction.

Advanced Middle School Math

My advanced middle school math lessons are designed for students who want to challenge themselves, prepare for accelerated classes, or strengthen their problem-solving skills. I break down advanced concepts into clear, manageable steps while encouraging critical thinking and deeper understanding. Lessons are personalized to each student’s pace, with guided practice to build confidence and prepare them for high school-level math.

Algebra (Beginner)

I help students build a strong foundation in algebra by explaining concepts clearly and working through problems step by step. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, with guided practice that focuses on understanding the reasoning behind each solution instead of simply memorizing formulas. My goal is to help students gain confidence and succeed in future math courses.

Geometry (Beginner)

I teach geometry by breaking down concepts like angles, shapes, and geometric reasoning into easy-to-follow steps. Lessons include clear explanations, guided examples, and practice problems to help students apply what they’ve learned. My goal is to help students develop confidence, improve their problem-solving abilities, and build a strong understanding of geometry.

Trigonometry (Beginner)

My trigonometry lessons make new concepts approachable through clear explanations, simple examples, and guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions and focus on understanding the basics before moving on to more challenging topics. Each lesson is designed to help students build confidence while developing strong problem-solving skills.
