About Henry

Hi, my name is Henry, I am 20 years old. I love, mostly, playing sports and video games with my friends. I play field-hockey at university, but also love climbing and surfing! I also play video games with friends in my free time (Rocket league and Overwatch, if you are interested!). I grew up near Brighton, but live in Exeter (Devon) most of the time. If you have more questions about me, feel free to ask :).

About the lesson

My lessons focus on relating content to concepts you already understand, building a city one brick at a time. I find that a lot of tutors/teachers let arrogance and pride block them from explaining something in a different way to how they learnt/understand it. None of that here!

My lessons tend to span between 30-60 minutes but, again, this is specific to the learner- it's completely flexible! Mostly targeted at helping the mid-upper (C/B/A) grade of A-level, I would not be out of place tutoring any student at any level, GCSE and above. Specification wise, AQA biology is my forte, using the CGP collection as a point of reference.

If you are a parent looking for a tutor for your child, I am happy to have a (free) video chat to get to know each other and talk more about my style and character. I suggest you do this, as we can organise a student-specific style that won't bore them and won't waste your money!
