About Francoise
My Passion for Education always propels me to instill an enthusiastic emotion in my students during a lesson where I prioritize discussion about French culture, literature, and language more than teaching grammar rules, and focusing on spellings. In this digital age, I love to incorporate digital activities, games, projects, and virtual fieldtrips that allow students to have a new perspective of their language experience. I also like to Assign pre-recorded videos or readings prior to class meetings as practice and review, and use class times for interactive discussions. I take pleasure sharing my travel experiences to instill curiosity in my students which cause them to show genuine interest in their learning process.
But above all, when a student grasps a challenging concept, I genuinely celebrate their achievement no matter how small.

As a tutor, I love to use a few teaching methods that allow my students to speak the language as quickly as possible.

As a French teacher, making learning fun and enjoyable allows students to retain better what they learn.
As much as each student’s learning style is different, so is their pace, and goals. There is no "one fits all" theory with me.
Rather, understanding students' strengths, weaknesses, and preferences helps serve them better.
I have taught students K-12 but have also tutored college students and adults on many occasions. Flexibility and adjustment of teaching style are key to students' success.
