About Anais
I am a young professional paralegal by trade, journalist and political scientist by education. I am a successful writer and researcher, and have a keen taste for creativity as well as critical analysis. Mostly, I enjoy being in constant contact with people from diverse settings and backgrounds. I'm passionate about cultural exploration and exchange, which is why I moved abroad in search of rich experiences in unfamiliar settings. My overall goal is to improve your writing and reading skills while learning about contemporary American culture.

We'll start lessons with casual conversation and exchange about a chosen topic in American culture, such as breaking news, music, history, or anything freshly 'discussion-worthy'. Next, I'll either present a writing prompt or reading passage for critical analysis, depending on students' goals. These lessons are for anyone looking to improve their writing and/or reading skills in English, while keeping lessons timely, interesting and culturally-relevant. As much as my tutoring aims to improve your skill set in English, I also make it as fun and light as possible - these sessions are collaborative with the goal of fun cultural exchange.
