About Catherine
I’m currently studying Physiotherapy but am passionate about Irish traditions and culture and want to instill that passion into kids and adults alike. Music and dance is the one form of communication that is understood by all, regardless of age, gender or language and is something I’d love to share!

As part of all my lessons, we start with a folklore or tradition aspect to teach where these traditions came from and why we dance in Ireland for example on creamery cans and half doors. We then break down steps, group dance, set dances, songs etc in an easy tangible manner, sometimes using drawings and images for younger kids or language barriers. I also have experience teaching older individuals looking to perfect their routines for competitions etc.
Classes are typically 30 minutes to an hour long depending on age groups.
I have experience teaching music and Sean Nós dancing to all ages, levels and abilities for the past 8 years
Notes are provided with every class as well as recordings to continue your practice after class!
