About Alice
Hi! I’m Alice
I grew up in China and lived there until I was 18, so Mandarin is not just my native language — it’s part of my everyday life and culture.
After high school, I moved to Canada for university, and I’m now a Master’s student in Educational Psychology at McGill University.
I’m fluent in English and also speak some French (living in Montreal definitely helps with that!). Because I’ve learned languages myself and adapted to a new culture, I truly understand how challenging — but also rewarding — the process can be.
That’s why I try to make my lessons feel natural, supportive, and practical, so you don’t just “study Chinese,” but actually feel comfortable using it in real life.

I use a student-centered and interactive approach, inspired by my background in Educational Psychology.
Learning through real-life scenarios (ordering food, making friends, daily conversations, etc.)
