About ALI

I summarise myself as an IT project manager and business analyst with 12 years of experience in managing multiple aspects of the software life cycle. I have worked across complex IT applications such as PC /Laptop solution Networking and software design etc. I have also worked on banking applications such as BankWorks, BOC, SelfServe, IBM Mainframe. Basic computer applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint are a part of my daily job. I have experience in conducting corporate workshops for different organisations related to technologies in IT. Out of passion, I also train students / professionals who wish to make their way in I.T.

About the lesson

I have over 4 years' experience as a private tutor. Over the years I have accumulated more than 200 hours of teaching in Maths GCSE/Edexcel and 200 hours of teaching in Computer Science and Networking. I also have more than 50 hours' experience in interactive teaching for online-delivered lessons. Innovative online content delivery through PowerPoint, Word Zoom etc Teaching Style: -Content delivery (PowerPoint, videos, quizzes) -Practice Questions -Homework assignment and responsive homework feedback -Setting and tracking exam goals Teaching support: -Always available to clarify students' queries (no need to wait until next lesson for a quick clarification) -Provide tailored study notes -Provide past paper exams -Provide worked solutions I offer tutoring in Networking, Internet, PC health issues, software design and security. I have worked with students from Year 8 up to Year 13 / Upper 6th, covering the 12-18 age group.
