I teach vertical asymptotes, horizontal asymptotes, and oblique asymptotes, with methods for finding them. I cover graphing rational functions, including intercepts, holes, and end behavior, with step-by-step procedures. I also teach solving rational inequalities using sign charts and test points. I use real-world examples like concentration of solutions, average cost, and physics applications to show practical relevance. I provide detailed notes, formula sheets, and practice worksheets. I assign homework that includes both graphing problems and solving inequalities. I conduct weekly quizzes to assess understanding. I maintain a progress log and adjust my teaching pace based on individual needs. I also provide tips for identifying asymptotes correctly and avoiding common graphing mistakes.
