My teaching approach for Algebra is centered on abstract linear algebra and its applications. I begin with definition and examples of vector spaces, including properties and axioms. I teach subspaces, including criteria for subspaces and examples. I cover linear combinations, spanning sets, linear independence, and dependence with clear definitions and proofs. I teach basis and dimension, including methods for finding basis and applications. I also cover coordinates and change of basis. I use real-world applications from physics, engineering, and computer science to make the subject relevant. I provide detailed notes, proofs, and problem sets. I assign homework that includes both theoretical derivations and numerical problems. I conduct weekly tests and provide feedback. I maintain a progress log and offer additional support for challenging topics. My goal is to prepare you for advanced linear algebra and its applications.
