My teaching approach for Algebra is centered on conic sections and their applications. I begin with the general equation of conics and their classifications. I teach circles, including standard form, center, radius, and applications. I cover parabolas, including vertex, focus, directrix, and applications in optics and satellite dishes. I teach ellipses, including standard form, center, foci, major and minor axes, and applications in planetary motion. I cover hyperbolas, including center, vertices, foci, asymptotes, and applications in navigation and physics. I use visual diagrams and real-world examples to make concepts tangible. I provide detailed notes, formula sheets, and practice worksheets. I assign homework that includes both theoretical and graphing problems. I conduct weekly quizzes to assess understanding. I maintain a progress log and adjust my teaching pace based on individual needs. My goal is to help you master conic sections and their applications.
