About Alan
For many years, I taught geophysics and related applied mathematics at the college level, having been on the faculty at Boston College since 1983. As I retire from my full-time teaching position at BC at the end of 2025, I am shifting my focus to one-on-one tutoring to help students succeed in mastering fundamental mathematics.

The best way to build a strong foundation in mathematics is to learn it step-by-step, incrementally.
