About Justin

I am a current high school Algebra Teacher in Orlando, Florida. I have been teaching the subject for 11 years and have seen all of the changes in the Algebra Curriculum. I also do in-house tutoring on this subject in my local community, so you are getting someone who knows the subject inside and out and also knows how to teach each topic in Algebra step by step.

About the lesson

I teach using an I do, we do, you do approach. I will show 1 to 2 examples of a problem step by step. Then we will do a problem together using the same steps. Finally, you get the opportunity to do a problem using the same procedures to see what you have mastered.
A typical lesson includes an easy warm up problem followed by the topic that we are learning. I will give a 1 question exit ticket to see what has been mastered. I treat my tutoring sessions similar to how I teach a class.
The lessons are designed for middle school to high school students. College students are also welcomed to join

Student is very strong at graphing linear equations in slope intercept form. We just need to work on solving isolating the "Y" to get an equation in slope-intercept form.
