About Alejandra

I’ve been in advanced math classes all throughout middle and high school, and when I tutor my peers, I have been told that I explain mathematical concepts more effectively than their teachers! I have experience tutoring kids and teens, and I even assisted a college algebra student with their homework while still in high school. I've taken honors algebra and geometry and am comfortable helping elementary, middle and high school students understand their assignments better.

About the lesson

I’m prepared to meet students where they are and help them understand the next steps of their work in a way that’s clear to them. I’ll ask questions to guide them to the right answer, and I strongly believe in positive reinforcement and encouragement to make sure that concepts stick to them!
