Hi! I’m Aiden Kim, an incoming freshman at Columbia University studying Financial Engineering and Computer Science. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and clarity in math, computer science, and test prep. I tailor each lesson to fit your unique learning style, whether you're looking to improve your grades, prepare for a big exam, or simply feel more comfortable with the material. My tutoring approach & teaching philosophy: As a tutor, my goal is to help students not only understand the material but also build lasting confidence in their abilities. I adapt my teaching style based on each student's learning preferences, whether they're more visual, hands-on, or logic-driven. My method combines clear explanation, guided practice, and active problem-solving, encouraging students to think critically and ask questions along the way. What sets me apart: -I’ve logged nearly 70 hours tutoring students for standardized tests and AP classes this past year, giving me a strong sense of how to tailor lessons effectively. -I prioritize clarity, patience, and building a genuine connection with students to keep them engaged and motivated.
