About Ciara

Hi students! I am Ciara and I am excited for you to get to know me. I am one of 9 kids in a big blended family. I have always loved school believe it or not. Personally, I never liked Math but enjoyed every other subject. That led me to being the only kid in my family to attend and graduate college. Going to Agnes Scott College was one of the best times in my life because I found my passion: changing the world one person at a time. I founded a student organization for first-generation college students to help increase their chances of graduating. Now, I want to dedicate my time to other students in need of someone to believe in their success. I have previous essays and assignments from my college days as examples of my work. Hope to talk soon!

About the lesson

I believe that everyone communicates and learns differently. I will take time to understand your learning styles to make lessons engaging and impactful. There really are no dumb questions because this is a safe space to learn. I have been tutoring my friends and family since I was in high school. Now that I have my Bachelor's, I can help any student from pre-K to Undergrad. The subjects that you can lean on me for are English, Science, Social Studies, History, Sociology, and Psychology. I can also be your study buddy and test prep.
