About Alan
Hello I am Alan, a 16-year-old high school student with a strong academic background overall. I excel most in math where I have consistently been on the top of my classes since elementary. I have earned a 5 on the AP Precalc test and 100 percent on the 11th grade SBAC test math section. I still do extremely well on the other core subjects. While I am new to tutoring, I do take this seriously and try to explain concepts in a way that is understandable. I really am passionate about helping other students succeed.

As a tutor, I will try to make the material being learned very clear and simple. I will try to make sure students know how they got the answers, rather than just getting an answer. My approach to teaching would start with checking where the student is at with whatever they are working on. I will allow them to solve it on their own and guide them with my knowledge of the subject. I am 16 years old, and my tutoring journey is just barely starting, but I do extremely well in all my classes, always getting top scores in tests and understanding deeply the topic. My lessons are best for middle and high school students. The subject I can most confidently help with is math, but I can help with all school core subjects.
