About Dr Joan

Hi, I’m Dr. Joan Ailia — a veterinary doctor, biomedical researcher, and academic tutor with international research experience across multiple countries.

I help students turn difficult scientific concepts into clear, logical, exam-ready understanding.

My background combines veterinary medicine, biomedical research, molecular biology, RNA sequencing, digital pathology, R programming, biostatistics, and medical data analysis. I offer small group classes for students who are looking for a more affordable alternative to one-to-one lessons. These combined classes are designed for students at a similar level who want structured guidance, clear explanations, and regular practice in a supportive learning environment.

R Programming / Biostatistics
R basics, data cleaning, data analysis, visualization, statistics, epidemiology-style datasets, and help with assignments or research-related coding.

Medical & Health Science Subjects
Anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology, public health, research methods, and other medical science topics.
