About Olivia
I know that struggling with math can really damage one's self confidence, so I want to help avoid any harm that may come your way as you go through your educational journey. I have also struggled in certain classes in school, so I understand the feeling of being so lost that you don't even know what you don't know. I promise to try to help you to the best of my abilities, and I will work just as hard as you so that you can succeed.

Hello, my name is Olivia Hantgin, and I am a student at the University of Texas studying aerospace engineering. I have a passion for math, especially calculus (which is why I wanted to study aerospace). I am extremely patient, and I have lots of experience teaching younger students (mostly my little sister). I would prefer to teach high-school age students enrolled in precalculus, calculus AB or BC, or algebra of any difficulty. I typically teach by doing a few examples and pointing out where students usually get lost or confused, and then I let the student try it out on their own with me by their side in case they get lost. I try to be a positive force in students lives because I understand that struggling with math can damage a student's self confidence.
