About Kris
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at California State University Long Beach in 2021. During my time at CSULB, I conducted research in Theoretical Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and the Boundary Layer Problem. After graduating, I began my career in the National Defense Industry, designing reconnaissance aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles for contracts totaling more than $300,000. In 2023, I earned the MathWorks MATLAB Associate License. In 2024, I earned my teaching credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). I have over five years of tutoring experience with students at both the high school and university level. My teaching approach involves giving students more autonomy and decision making. By doing so, my students form the critical thinking skills needed to succeed in the modern engineering industry of today.

Students have control over their learning experience. What sets me apart as a tutor: I am 25 years old, so I am relatively in tune with the younger generation. I enjoy working with high school and college students because they have a different outlook on life. At this point in their career, they have a lot of untouched potential, and it's really rewarding for me as a tutor to help them tune into it.
