About Aiden
Teaching can be a balancing act between logic and intuition. I admit that I find the most joy in simplifying complex calculus or geometry for students who previously struggled with these topics.
Having completed my Master of Engineering at the University of Cambridge, I apply a very direct, calm approach to learning. Over 13 years, I have worked with 474 students to build their confidence in statistics, algebra, and number sense. Students often lose marks because they miss the foundational link between arithmetic and advanced calculus concepts. A diagnostic test for every student before we begin is the only way to identify exactly where the disconnect started. By using my 13 years of experience as a Cambridge engineer, I clarify these gaps through a structured, conceptual approach to statistics and competition maths prep.
Whether we are tackling tricky probability questions or complex geometric proofs, I guide you towards a more intuitive understanding of the underlying principles. I remember how difficult it was to bridge these academic hurdles during my own training, so I make sure we progress at a pace that actually sticks.
