About Jillian
Hi! My name is Jillian, and I’m currently graduating from high school this year with plans to pursue a degree in Zoology next year. I’ve always been passionate about learning, especially in math and science, and I love helping others understand topics that once challenged me too.
Throughout high school, I’ve maintained a 98% average and have been on the Principal’s List every year. My hard work has also been recognized through multiple academic awards, including three Math Awards, three Science Awards, a Law Award, a Geography Award, and a Hospitality Award. These achievements reflect not only my academic performance but also my dedication, organization, and commitment to excellence across different subjects.
I’m especially excited to work with students in math and science, but I’m happy to support a range of subjects and grade levels. My goal is to help students build both academic skills and confidence in their abilities.

My approach as a tutor is student-centred and adaptable. I focus on understanding how each student learns best and adjust my teaching style to match their needs.
I use:

— Encouraging students to explain answers back to me (teaches true understanding)
