About Philip
I am a dedicated and results-driven physics tutor with an MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering (Distinction) from Coventry. With experience teaching GCSE and A-level students. My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can succeed with the right balance of clear explanation, patience, and encouragement. While I’m focused on helping my students achieve their best, I also bring a little energy and humour to my lessons—because learning physics should be challenging, but never dull! I tailor each session to individual learning styles, helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and see real improvements in their results

I teach physics from first principles, ensuring my students develop a strong understanding of core concepts before progressing to more advanced topics.
