About Kiera
Hey! My name is Kiera. I am 17 years old and live in Scotland. I am in 6th years and currently doing advanced Higher mathematics and biology and crashing higher physics and health and food technology. I would love to have a career in STEM in the future although I cannot make up my mind! I have been going back and forth between medicine, veterinary medicine, engineering, finance… the list goes on. I have lots of hobbies like dance, netball, guitar, and reading and truthfully I love maths. I’m sure that I can help, assure and inspire anyone to love maths, or even just get better at it because it definitely can be tough at times.

I have always had a love for maths and biology and would love to go into a career with these subjects. While I have not received my results for my Highers, I did earn high A’s in my prelims and at National 5 got very high A’s in both subjects. I would share different techniques I used during my time studying these levels. Some I learned from my fabulous teachers, some from students who are doing mathematics at university and ones that I learned from a lot of studying. For mathematics, I can confidently review the full National 5 course and Higher course. For biology, I am currently only looking to do the National 5 course. I am happy to do any length of lesson, although, typically it would range between 45 minutes to 90 minutes.
