About Maya
I am a Guitar tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 820 students. My passion is helping learners become confident musicians while developing technical skill, creativity, and performance excellence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with complete beginners, advanced performers, hobby musicians, examination candidates, and aspiring professionals. This experience allows me to create highly personalized learning experiences that support different musical goals.
I believe music education should be inspiring, practical, and enjoyable. Students make the greatest progress when they are encouraged to explore their creativity while building strong technical foundations and confidence.
Many learners have successfully prepared for examinations, performances, auditions, competitions, and personal musical achievements through my guidance. Their success continues to inspire my dedication to music education.

My Guitar lessons are designed to help students develop technical excellence, musical creativity, performance confidence, and a deep understanding of music through a structured and engaging learning system. I teach Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Fingerstyle Guitar, Improvisation, Ear Training, Music Theory, Song Interpretation, and Performance Preparation.
Students begin by building strong foundations in rhythm, timing, posture, hand positioning, chord transitions, finger coordination, and strumming techniques. These skills create the framework required for advanced playing and long-term musical development.
As students advance, lessons include improvisation, solo construction, advanced chord voicings, fingerstyle arrangements, songwriting concepts, lead guitar techniques, stylistic versatility, and performance coaching. Practical learning activities help students apply concepts confidently.
Theory is integrated directly into performance-based learning so students understand scales, harmony, rhythm, and musical structure while developing the ability to create and perform independently.
Structured practice plans, regular assessments, personalized feedback, and performance preparation help students achieve consistent improvement while maintaining enthusiasm and motivation.
