With having ADHD, I’ve learned to make things simple and straight to the point. In my lessons, I bring math into the real world of my students. I like to combine elements that they already know and understand and plug them into the numbers. Using topics they are interested in not only keeps them engaged, it also puts the numbers and formulas into a more realistic scenario for them to follow.
