I am an adjunct professor with a master’s degree in graphic design and over seven years of experience teaching high school and college students. I help students build a strong foundation in the core principles shared across graphic design, UX/UI design, and illustration. My tutoring focuses on developing the ability to analyze and critique visual work, both their own and others’, while evaluating how effectively a design meets conceptual, visual, and user interaction goals.
I guide students through applying foundational concepts of visual communication and user engagement to create thoughtful, audience-centered design projects. My approach emphasizes creative problem-solving through iteration by developing multiple ideas, exploring varied image-making techniques, and refining work through critique and feedback. I also teach proficiency in both digital and manual design methods, including core programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
