I've taught for over 10 years as a teaching associate/tutor while obtaining my MS and PhD. I am currently an adjunct instructor at a community college. My breadth of experience translates well in my ability to connect with you, the student.
My hours are flexible (weekdays, weeknights, or weekends), but I do require a 24 hour cancellation notice

Chemistry can be challenging, but my philosophy involves mastery of the fundamentals so tackling complex problems becomes less daunting. I have experience teaching at the preparatory (pre-chem), lower division, and upper division levels of chemistry. I have also taught for nursing and non-STEM majors.
Typical lesson plans involve a short lecture followed by examples. We may also dive straight into problems in lieu of the topical lesson.
I've taken chemistry classes at all levels (High School, Community College, Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctorate level). I am familiar with the pace of both a 10 week quarter system and a 16 week semester system and the breadth of knowledge covered in both types of classes. I am confident that my teaching methodology (mastery of the fundamentals) will help you obtain a better grade in your classes (High School to Undergraduate Level).
