Particular interests in educational psychology, literacy, dysgraphia and creative writing.
I have worked in the Education field for nearly 25 years, in Museums, Art Galleries, and a few stints as an art Teacher.

50 minute sessions. Interactive worksheet free zone. Graphic novels, hands on materials and purposeful games. Fostering independent learning and confidence in the classroom. Sessions are directly linked to the curriculum taught in schools but based on the students interest. Teenager learning specialist. VCE/VCAL.
I like a relaxed but structured environment. I have a purpose built studio outside my house in Diamond Creek. All mod cons and a HEPA filter. There are even mini soft-drinks in a fridge!
One on one sessions only. My desire is to build confidence, to help reduce anxiety in academic situations in a friendly interesting way. Fostering life-long learning. NDIS billing, is available but dependent on individual plans.

I would highly recommend Erika as a tutor. Erika helped my daughter with tactics and knowledge on how to build her confidence on how to tackle Year 11 and 12 English. My daughter did well and I am grateful for Erika's support and knowledge.
Erika has 'saved' us. Her knowledge, the way she communicates with our 12 year old, who has dyslexia, adhd and asd is outstanding. We were treading water before Erika now we can swim.
Erika has been absolutely incredible with helping my teen, and approaches each student with an open mind and creativity. Super fun and welcoming. Couldn't recommend her more!
