About Teresa
As someone who once struggled with mathematics herself, I quickly realized that Math isn’t about being “bad” at it; it is about finding the right approach. Sometimes I learned best by seeing examples, and other times I needed to read through every step to truly understand the process. Because of that experience, I’m able to connect with students who learn in different ways. Even though I’m younger, I bring strong dedication, patience, and enthusiasm to every lesson. I’ve completed several advanced math courses up to Differential Equations. I also enjoy helping my younger nieces and nephews with elementary math. You can feel confident knowing that I understand the challenges students face and will do my best to guide you toward success in your math journey.

I believe every student learn differently, and my goal is to adapt to your personal learning style. Whether you like to move quickly through concepts or take time to dive deep and understand every detail, we will find the pace and method that works best for you.
In a typical lesson, we will start by figuring out how you learn and retain and retain information most effectively. From there, I'll create a plan that fits your needs. For example, I will use example, practice problems, or creative explanations to make math feel clear and approachable.
I’m a patient, energetic, and supportive tutor who truly wants to see my students succeed. I’m always happy to adjust my methods, explain things in new ways, and go the extra mile to help you feel confident with math.
My lessons are open to students from K–12 through college, and I love connecting what you’re learning to real examples or concepts from my own math experience. No matter where you’re starting from, we’ll work together to make sure math finally clicks!
