About Alicia

Hi there, my name is Alicia! I graduated from Butler University in 2018 with a BS in Actuarial Science, Business, and Spanish. I currently work in accounting, but my true passion is math. My favorites are algebra, pre-calc, calc, and calc 2. I find it so fun and love to help others understand it.

About the lesson

I will sit down with you and go over whatever questions you have, whether that be going through your homework one question at a time, reviewing a specific concept you do not understand, or going over questions you missed on previous homework or exams. I am very patient and willing to explain how to solve a problem in different ways until one makes sense to you. My availability is mainly on weekends, but I can sometimes make week days work. Don't be afraid to ask! :) NOTE: not currently accepting new students, apologies for the inconvenience!

Perfect! I very recently started working with Alicia. My grade went up a whole letter grade, and I owe much of the improvements I've made, to her. She helped me by preparing herself a practice quiz before my exam, has worked along side me on weekly assignment, guided me with problem solving and rational thinking to help me find the answers on my own accord. Great listener, helps me gain more confidence in my abilities I may not immediately recognize and showers with encouragement. Very professional and super smart, I 100% percent recommend Alicia as a Super Math Tutor!
