About Imogen
I started out in the performance world when I was a baby and performed professionally in my first Shakespeare at the age of eight. Achieving A* grades (equivalent to a 9 in the current grading system) in GCSE Drama, English Language and English Literature, and going on to achieve a CertHE in Theatre Arts and a Professional Diploma in Classical Acting has given me a unique command of the English language and an excellent footing to teach oral expression and spoken English, whether for performance or presentation. And I can help you make Shakespeare make sense! After many years in the arts, I made the decision to have a change in career and applied to the University of Essex LLB Law (Hons) programme, which I am in my final year of. Throughout the course I have developed a strong capacity for essay writing, OSCOLA referencing, and proofreading, recently receiving commendation from the University for ‘exceptional performance’ throughout my studies. Alongside performing I was also a nanny and childminder for many years, and since beginning my law degree I have had two children of my own, so I am confident working with little ones, right through to adults.
