About Will
Hi! I'm a guitarist, songwriter and performer with 6 years of experience playing live, performing in my own band, and writing and releasing original music.
I'm particularly passionate about indie, pop, rock, blues and folk, and I play both electric and acoustic guitar. Music has always been something I've learnt by getting stuck in, experimenting and playing the songs I love.
As a self-taught guitarist, I understand that everyone learns differently, and I know how rewarding it is to see your playing improve through practice and discovering your own style. Alongside guitar, songwriting is my day job, so music is a huge part of my life both creatively and professionally.
I'm friendly, patient and enthusiastic about helping people discover what they can do with a guitar. Whether you're a complete beginner or have been playing for years, I'd love to help you grow in confidence, develop your skills and enjoy making music.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to you, your interests and your goals. Whether you want to learn electric or acoustic guitar, my main focus is helping you become a better player by learning music you genuinely enjoy.
I taught myself guitar by learning songs I loved, and I believe this is one of the best ways to stay motivated and make progress. Rather than following a rigid exam-based structure, we'll focus on the skills you want to develop, using your favourite songs as a starting point. This could include learning chords, improving your rhythm and technique, developing your ear, understanding riffs, or building the confidence to play songs from start to finish.
I can also help with songwriting, from developing initial ideas and chord progressions to exploring melodies, lyrics and arrangements. If you're interested in creating your own music, we'll work on turning your ideas into something you're proud of.
Lessons are open to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners picking up a guitar for the first time to more experienced players looking to improve. We'll work at your pace, focus on what excites you, and make sure you're enjoying the process as you go.

Great teacher! Helped me pick up the guitar again after years of neglecting it, would recommend to anyone who wants to learn quickly and enjoy playing again!
Will is a patient and fun teacher, I booked on to a lesson with him wanting to learn my favourite Oasis song, and within the first two lessons I can play along to the whole thing!
