About Scot
I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa. I've been living in the United States for over 7 years. Based in Los Angeles & Atlanta, GA. I am a professional actor that has worked having lead, guest & co-star roles in film, TV, theatre, & featured in close to 100 commercials. I have also written and performed a one man play. I have been recognized and won awards for my work. I studied at the acclaimed Esper Studio in New York, the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in LA, and under audition coach Amy Lyndon. I have also studied improv at the Second City in LA. Including a BA at the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance (AFDA).
Along with one on one acting and career guidance coaching, I have taught drama at the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy which focuses on speech, expression and self confidence. I find fulfillment as a teacher and guidance coach seeing growth and development in people. I am an optimistic person and believe that encouragement is essential in healthy development in everyone.

My lessons are unique to who you are and where you are at. Particularly the first lesson I get an idea of where you are at and what you need in whatever areas to make you the strongest performer and help achieve your goals whether you are in the early stages of an acting career or have been doing it for a while.
If you have upcoming auditions and roles we can work on those, otherwise we will work on scenes and monologues. If there is anything that you need improvements on whether it be your speech, learning dialog, and even your overall confidence and approach to acting we will work on that. I offer guidance of going through the audition process for film, TV & commercials and all that entails. We will do plenty of mock auditions. Most auditions are selftapes or online and you need to be fully prepared. I offer invaluable insights into the business side of acting, empowering you with knowledge to navigate the industry successfully. I will give you the tools to put you in the best position for success.
I offer career guidance with advice based on my own experience as an actor in this profession. I offer guidance on seeking representation with cover letters, headshots, reels and acting sites. Our sessions are about growth and empowerment. I want you to have a great and enjoyable experience with them and know that you are moving in the direction you truly want to be in.
