About Ivy
I am a high school musician who has climbed up the ranks of music faster than most. The way that I have done this is by listening to those around me not only in music but in everyday life and in school subjects as well. There are lessons and learning opportunities everywhere, I attempt to streamline those messages in my teaching so that my students are able to grow at their desired pace while attempting to instill as much dedication and passion into the student as possible.

- My teaching style is accepting and encouraging, I will accept your shortcomings as long as effort is put in on your end to advance your own education.
- My lesson plan changes depending on the specific student, but it usually would consist of a introduction or recap of the basics and then going into more complex topics, somewhat like making a layered cake, you need a strong reliable base before anything else.
- What Sets me apart as a tutor is my personal approach to each student, ensuring that they are engaged and don't feel as though they are being rushed to learn quickly.
- My lessons are more geared towards beginners in order to provide the strong foundation that is necessary in any future endeavor. I teach Spanish English, Math, and the Viola
