About Chanan
Hi, my name is Chanan and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine at UNSW. I graduated with an IB Diploma in Hong Kong (41/45, 98.15 ATAR equivalent). My strongest subjects were Biology, Maths AA, and Chinese B (all 7/7). I also achieved an A in both TOK and EE (18/20 TOK essay, 31/34 EE). My IGCSE results consist of 9/9 in Biology, Chemistry, History, and Maths, 8/9 in Economics, A* in World Studies and A in English and Spanish.

I tutor the following IB subjects: - Biology - Chemistry - History - Chinese B - I also provide feedback and advice on Internal Assessments (IAs), the Extended Essay (EE), and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) essay and exhibition. Additionally, I will teach Middle Years Program (MYP) and the middle school Australian program if needed. (rates will vary) My teaching style is definitely supportive and flexible. I will try and modify the way that I teach based on my student's personality and requirements. With experience tutoring students from year 1 all the way to year 10, I have grasped the importance of personalized teaching. Since this will be a one-on-one session, I can spend more time and effort to get to know you as a learner. I personally struggled with learning when I was younger and I had fantastic and memorable tutors who really taught me by catering to my style of learning. I hope I can be that for my future students.
