About Nawal

Hi! My name is Nawal, and I’m a dedicated Biomedical Science student with a strong passion for Biology and helping others truly understand it. I tutor high-school level Biology (Years 9–13 / NCEA Levels 1–3) and have experience tutoring peers and younger students throughout high school. About the lesson

I tutor high-school level Biology (NCEA or equivalent), offering lessons in Wellington or online. My sessions are designed to be clear, structured, and tailored to the student’s needs. Teaching Techniques & Methodology I focus on breaking down complex Biology concepts into simple, understandable steps. My sessions often include: • Past papers and exam-style questions to build confidence and familiarity • Active recall and memory techniques to strengthen long-term understanding • Targeted revision strategies based on each student’s weaknesses • Visual aids and real-life examples to make topics easier to grasp • Guided note-making so students learn how to study smarter, not harder My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and genuinely understand what they’re learning. Lesson Length • Standard lessons are typically 1 hour. • Exam prep sessions can run for up to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs. Qualifications & Experience I’m a Biomedical Science student at VIC University with strong academic grounding in Biology and related sciences. I have previous experience tutoring high-school peers and students in lower grades, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance.
