About Dakshayanii

My journey with Accounting was not always easy. During Form 4 and Form 5, I struggled with the subject and failed several times. At that point, I understood how frustrating it could feel to study hard but still not get the results I wanted.

Instead of giving up, I started looking at why I was struggling. I realized that simply reading the textbook and memorizing steps was not the way I learned best. I needed to understand the concepts, see how they applied to real-life situations, and practice them step by step. I changed the way I studied, found what worked for me as a student, and eventually turned my results around and achieved a strong A in Accounting.

This experience is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching. I understand why students struggle because I was one of them. I was able to identify the problem and find a solution from a student’s perspective, and I want to bring that same approach into my lessons.

Rather than simply reading from the textbook, I use real-life examples, simple explanations and guided practice to give students a clearer picture of Accounting. My goal is to help students understand why something works, not just memorize how to do it.

I believe that struggling with Accounting does not mean you are bad at it. Sometimes, you just haven't found the right way of learning it yet.

About the lesson

like to use real-life examples and relatable situations when teaching Accounting so students can understand what the concepts actually mean. Instead of simply reading from the textbook and asking students to memorize, I break topics down into simple explanations and examples that give them a clearer picture of how Accounting works in real life.

My lessons are interactive and focus on understanding the “why” behind each concept, followed by guided practice and exam-style questions. Each lesson is typically 2 hours, allowing enough time to explain concepts, practice questions and clear up any difficulties the student may have.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Finance, and my lessons are suitable for Form 4 Accounting students, especially those who want to strengthen their understanding, keep up with schoolwork or prepare for exams.
