About Easton

With 18 years of experience teaching flute, I enjoy helping students discover their musical potential. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals through structured lessons that are easy to understand and enjoyable to follow. My classroom is welcoming, encouraging, and focused on long-term improvement.

My teaching approach is based on communication, motivation, creativity, and patience. I adapt my lessons to suit every learner's goals and abilities. I believe students learn best when they feel supported, respected, and motivated to improve.

Apart from flute, I teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, breathing techniques, beginner keyboard, sight reading, stage performance, and music appreciation. These additional subjects strengthen students' musical knowledge and performance skills.

I help students improve tone quality, posture, finger movement, breathing control, rhythm, and expressive playing. Through regular practice plans and constructive feedback, I guide students toward becoming confident and independent musicians who truly enjoy the learning process.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is to make flute learning enjoyable, organized, and meaningful. I use Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to create a classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new ideas, and improving through regular practice.

Students first learn breathing control, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, and tone quality. After developing these skills, lessons continue with scales, rhythm studies, notation reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and performance techniques. Practical exercises and familiar melodies help students strengthen both technical skills and musical expression.

Communication allows me to explain concepts clearly and adapt lessons to each student's learning needs. Accountability teaches students the value of discipline, responsibility, and consistent effort. Integrity guides every lesson with honesty, patience, fairness, and encouragement.

Besides flute, I teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Rhythm Practice, Breath Management, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Preparation, and Practice Techniques. These additional subjects help students become confident and well-rounded musicians.

My objective is to help students enjoy every lesson, achieve their goals, and develop a lifelong love for music.
