About Jini
I am an experienced piano tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages, from young school beginners to college students and working professionals. My teaching philosophy is to provide a supportive, engaging, and personalised learning experience where students feel confident to explore music, develop technical skills, and express themselves creatively.
I have helped students perform in recitals, complete graded exams, and participate in competitions, achieving both skill development and recognition. Lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all adapted to the student’s level and goals.
I aim to make piano learning inspiring, rewarding, and enjoyable, helping students build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching philosophy focuses on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe every student learns differently, and I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs. In piano lessons, I emphasise understanding both technique and musical expression, ensuring students feel confident and motivated.
I encourage open communication, so students can ask questions and share their goals. By providing a supportive environment, I help students overcome challenges and build self-confidence. My approach also includes using real-life examples and relatable exercises to make learning enjoyable.
Beyond piano, I can assist with music theory, basic composition, and other relevant subjects, using the same supportive and compassionate approach. I aim to create a positive and inspiring space where students can grow at their own pace while developing both skills and creativity.
My goal is not only to teach music but also to nurture a lifelong love for learning.
