About Maddox
I am an academically advanced early-college student in 10th grade, and I take my education and commitments seriously. I have a strong work ethic, genuine respect for my students, and a passion for learning that I enjoy sharing with others.
My goal is to create a professional, comfortable, and encouraging environment where students feel respected and supported. I am dependable, patient, and committed to coming prepared for each lesson and adapting to the needs of every student.
I plan to pursue a career in medicine, and I understand the importance of discipline, responsibility, and developing strong academic habits early. I bring that same mindset to tutoring and take pride in helping students recognize their own potential.
I look forward to building positive relationships with my students and families and providing tutoring they can feel confident in.

My lessons are designed to be personalized, encouraging, and focused on helping each student truly understand what they are learning. I don't want students to simply memorize answers or get through an assignment, I want them to understand the “why” behind the material and feel confident in their ability to figure things out.
Because I am a student myself, I understand that everyone learns differently and that sometimes having someone closer to your own age can make it easier to ask questions, make mistakes, and stay engaged. I strive to make lessons comfortable, positive, and challenging without making students feel overwhelmed.
Whether a student needs help strengthening foundational skills, keeping up with current coursework, preparing for a test, completing homework, or simply wants to get ahead, I will work with them at their own pace and adapt lessons to their individual needs.
My goal is for every student to leave a lesson feeling like they understand something they didn't understand before, and a little more confident in themselves because of it.
