About Kieran
I have a decade of teaching experience, a Master's in Education, and I continue to work with both undergraduates and postgraduates on a daily basis. I specialise in working with international students and non-native English speakers, but I have taught a wide range of different students in secondary and post-secondary education. I specialise in the humanities, although I teach academic research and essay writing in all subjects.

I take a task-based approach. This involves breaking larger tasks down into multiple smaller ones, and then working through them one-by-one with the student.
My aim is to provide the tools for the student to (eventually) tackle academic problems independently. This is done by:
1. Focusing on how to structure academic work
2. Teaching robust research skills
3. Discussing key topics in depth
4. Inculcating good habits of study and organisation
I teach pre-university (16-18), undergraduate, and postgraduate students, and I currently teach academic skills at a UK university. I have a good track record of success with students entering elite universities.
