Hi , I am a Dyslexia Therapist certified by the International Dyslexia Association. I have been working with children with Dyslexia since 8 years now. I work using an intensive multisensory, systematic, diagnostic and structured program called the Sounds in Syllables. It is a program based on The Orton Gillingham methods. More than anything it's my passion to work with children with learning issues.
I run a centre called Ahaava in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, India. I've been in this field since 2013. I've finished my language therapy which is a 4 year course with the Maharashtra Dyslexia Association in collaboration with the University of New Mexico.
I've been working on an online platform since 5 years now. I'm comfortable using facetime, zoom, skype or Cisco.
I feel great satisfaction in saying that I have worked with more than 60 students with different levels of learning differences. We have seen remarkable improvements in the students reading, writing, spelling and comprehension abilities. I also work on improving the executive functions, concentration and memory . On an average I work 5 hours a day with students with dyslexia.
I am looking forward to broaden my horizon and work with students across continents. At present I have students in Ireland, Singapore and London.
