About Waymon
taught briefly in the Brevard County School system before working in the design/engineering field.
As a Training and Recruitment Program (TRP) Educational Director, I recruited a class of 8 prospective plumber's apprentice applicants. Of the 5 who completed the training, all 5 passed the entrance exam of the Local Union and 3 went on to work as plumber's apprentices/plumbers.
A former volunteer tutor at St. Bartley P.B. Church in Huntsville, at my home and at the student's home. Currently employed as a contractor at Marshall Space Flight Center on Redstone Arsenal.

High School diploma, attended Tuskegee University. Engineering and past teaching experience with a multi-pronged approach to problem solving to get the student to understand what (s)he's doing versus attempting to apply methodology alone. This enables the student to "think" their way thru a problem instead of relying on memorization of steps. I work best with the student who struggles with concepts in the classroom setting, needs help with homework, or help with achieving a certain goal (passing a competency or GED test).
