About Valentin
Native French. I was born in Paris but I have been living abroad for 7 years, in different countries. I have worked for several learning centers in Asia and America including Alliance Française which is internationally known. Today, I focus more on my online classes and private students. Teaching is 60% of the work, getting my students confident so that they don't feel uncomfortable or shy is 40% — it is essential to establish a positive environment, work environment between the tutor and the student. The virtual classroom is a safe space where we can both grow because seeing my students getting better and better is also my own reward.

I have been working as a French private tutor since 2019 — both offline and online. I speak English and Spanish fluently so teaching to Spanish-speaking students is not a problem. My students are from all over the world. Learning French with me will be learning in a non-academic way. I do not follow any textbook. Instead, I offer tailor-made classes according to your own objectives and targets. Over the years, I have helped many students reaching their goals whether it is discovering the language, getting the French citizenship, helping foreigners to settle down in France or getting a job, or simply be someone to speak to when there are no opportunities to speak French where you are. Typically, a class lasts one hour but I am very flexible. After all, it all depends on your own time and schedule. I also adapt to any time zones.
