About Alexander
I’m Alexander, a self-taught contemporary artist and painter passionate about color, abstraction, and creative expression. My work has been featured in exhibitions including Chaotic Beauty (2023), The Art of Vitality (2024), and DC Art All Night (2025).
I’ve also created commissioned artwork for National Geographic, HRC, VIDA Fitness, and private collectors. I further developed my practice through the In the Studio: Postwar Abstract Painting certification.
As a teacher, I want to share what years of creating have taught me: art doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. My goal is to help you build confidence, understand painting techniques, experiment freely, and ultimately discover an artistic voice that feels completely your own.

My painting lessons are about more than learning technique—they’re about discovering your own artistic voice. I teach acrylic and abstract painting through color, composition, texture, expressive brushwork, and creative experimentation.
Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or looking to develop a more recognizable personal style, I’ll meet you at your level and build each lesson around your goals. We’ll explore techniques inspired by abstract expressionism and contemporary painting while giving you the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, and create work that feels genuinely yours.
My philosophy is simple: there is beauty in imperfection. You don’t need to be a “perfect” painter—you need curiosity, courage, and the freedom to create.
